Round 1 polls run about 5:20 PM CT Sat 10/10 to about 5:20 PM CT Sat 10/17. Every later poll opens and closes at 7 PM CT. See the launch post. Results are posted on X shortly after each poll closes.
Methodology
Seeding. Seeds come from our all-time program rankings, built with our in-house model, which scores each program's full history (national titles, playoff and bowl results, Heisman winners and sustained winning). Seeds 1-10 are the all-time top 10. Seeds 11-12 are at-large picks with estimated scores (*).
Format. 12-team bracket. Seeds 1-4 get Round 1 byes, and Round 1 games are hosted by the higher seed. Quarterfinals, semifinals and the final are played at neutral NFL/bowl-style stadiums, just for fun.
Voting. Every game is a native X poll on @B1GAnalytics. The model seeds the field, but the fans pick every winner. Upsets are welcome.
